Check how the plan is managed
Look in the plan or ask the support coordinator or plan manager whether the relevant budget is self-managed, plan-managed or NDIA-managed.
Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS
MoveWell can work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants when physiotherapy is appropriate to the person’s disability-related goals and funding is available.
At a glance
From enquiry to first visit
Look in the plan or ask the support coordinator or plan manager whether the relevant budget is self-managed, plan-managed or NDIA-managed.
Explain the disability-related movement goals, remaining plan period and whether assessment, ongoing visits or a report is being requested.
MoveWell and the participant or authorised representative agree on the service, price, responsibilities and communication needs.
The physiotherapist assesses movement and everyday tasks, then recommends a plan that can be considered against the participant’s goals and funding.

Common questions
This website does not claim NDIS registration. MoveWell accepts suitable self-managed and plan-managed enquiries; NDIA-managed participants generally need a registered provider.
No. The service needs to relate to the plan goals and rules, and enough relevant budget must be available. Confirm with the plan manager or support coordinator before starting.
Yes, with the participant’s authority. Please share the management type, goals, plan dates, invoice contact and reporting requirements.
Reporting can be agreed when it is needed. The scope, purpose, due date and price should be confirmed in the service agreement before work starts.
Funding rules and individual eligibility can change. This page is general information, not a guarantee of funding. Confirm your circumstances with the relevant government agency, insurer, plan manager or home care provider.
