Our Journey
In 2016, Danielle Meldrum established MoveWell 2 LiveWell with a mission to provide an ethical, patient-centred home physiotherapy service for the older population in Sydney, coining our ‘Mobile Physio Sydney’ initiative. Fueled by her experience in various aged care settings, Danielle desired to offer superior care that she felt was lacking in the industry. Starting as a one-woman operation, she has progressively expanded the business over the years, earning recognition and referrals from rehab hospitals and GPs on the north shore. The team now boasts six dedicated physiotherapists and an office manager, each carefully selected to maintain our commitment to providing the best mobile physiotherapy service for Sydney’s older residents.
Although Danielle solely owns MW2LW, it operates much like a family business, with Danielle’s mother, Rosemary, serving as the office manager. Our small but passionate team ensures a personalised experience for every client, fostering familiarity and comfort through consistent interactions and a deep understanding of each client’s needs.
From inception, our goal was to provide the elderly population with the care and respect they deserve, a belief that permeates all aspects of our service. We listen attentively to our clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their circumstances and expectations from their physiotherapy sessions. We believe in unhurried consultations and fostering deep connections with our clients.
Our comprehensive service extends from the initial phone call to the conclusion of the client’s program. We keep their family, GPs, case managers, and specialists updated on their progress regularly, ensuring their entire support team is aligned with our care plan. Regular check-ins with our clients provide us with essential feedback, helping us continually refine our services.
“You are not as old as you feel, you are as old as they treat you”
